Meet the Team!
Blaine is a Pennsylvania native and a Humanities enthusiast. He attempts many things in his free time - however, his favourite activities revolve around ancient and medieval literature and writing poetry. He is a self-proclaimed Dante stan.
Wendy has always drawn. At one and a half years old, she did her first mural with mixed reviews. After her mother scrubbed the wall, she made sure Wendy always had paper and a pencil and crayons, under supervision.
Her style is one of realism, with an occasional dose of impressionism. Acrylics have become her medium of choice because they are so versatile and quick to dry.
Lately, she has experimented with using acrylic in a watercolor style. Also, she loves the exacting challenge of pencil. A pencil piece on a linen weave board takes around a hundred and twenty hours to complete. The surface of the board adds another dimension in difficulty to achieve a smooth finish in skin tones, but the end result is amazing.
Cassidy was born and raised in Corry, Pennsylvania, and has been a dedicated part of the community ever since. She has worked at the Painted Finch Gallery for the past eight years and serves on several local boards and committees. Passionate about accessibility and civic engagement, she also volunteers her time recording city council meetings for the public. Outside of work and volunteering, Cassidy enjoys running, gaming, making music, and snowboarding whenever she gets the chance.
Melissa Bahle is a professor, poet, and artist who resides in picturesque Bear Lake, Pa. She, her husband Eric, and their three dogs enjoy living and homesteading in a tiny cabin on 40 acres. When Melissa is not teaching, she immerses herself in photography, glass-fusing, writing, wirework, resin art, and reading. She is also active in the Guerrilla Generosity movement, having established blessing boxes and coat
drives in her community. Her goal is to spread the word about the power of positivity, kindness, and creativity. She is excited about continuing her work at the Painted Finch and Epiphany’s Emporium as a cashier and customer service concierge.
Sarah has worked on various projects for the Painted Finch Gallery since 2022. It started with her Summer internship during her Senior year of College. She was given the opportunity to create brochures, business cards, and ads for the Finch and its sister store, Epiphany's Emporium. From there, she has worked on countless projects for the Finch, Epiphany's, the Downtown Corry Business Association, The Corry Community Foundation, and more! Aside from graphic design, Sarah also dabbles in creating her own art.
"I don't have much time to focus my efforts on drawing and illustration. It's more of a hobby of mine. I enjoy it when I don't take it too seriously. I think a hobby should be relaxing and enjoyable!" -Sarah
Apart from work and design, Sarah spends her time at home or with her friends watching TV and playing video games. Her favorite games are World of Warcraft, Dragon Age, and Stardew Valley!
